We decided to try this restaurant in Elmhurst downtown for a date night, and we were pleasantly surprised. We both love the self-serve beer option they offer, with plenty of choices for beer lovers. It's a great place to have your own beer tasting experience and try out different flavors. I do wish they had more cocktail options, although the Margarita was excellent despite being a bit pricey. The atmosphere was relaxed and not too loud, which we enjoyed. The shrimp tacos and Keksteig egg rolls were our favorite dishes - definitely recommend trying the egg rolls! Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back.
Upon entering the restaurant, the hostess gives you a card with directions. Orders are placed using an iPad at the table. There were plenty of beer options, but only 4 mixed drinks available. I was surprised at the high price of a blue vodka drink I ordered. The pulled pig and brisket with mac and cheese we ordered were disappointing, as the meat was dry and the mac and cheese was too spicy due to the jalapeño. The cole slaw was terrible. Overall, I would not recommend this place. There are better restaurants in the neighborhood that we should have chosen instead.
I've been to Red Arrow 3 times now and have always been impressed, but this last visit topped them all. It was their first day having indoor seating open again and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. They have protocols put in place to keep everything clean and adhere to social distancing. The food was excellent and the self-pour is always fun. The General Manager stopped by to chat with our table a few times and was lovely to talk to. We will definitely be returning and I recommend this place to everyone.
I drove all the way to the restaurant for my reservation only to find that they were closed. I understand that things are different during this time, but they should stay on top of reservations and reservation websites.

Had the brisket tacos they were great. Had a table outside, so it was nice and quiet. Good selection of beer and wine for my wife to drink. Was our 3rd time here.
It took a long time for drinks, but they made up free drinks. The tablet is hard to read and takes place on the tables.
Very accommodating during COVID-19! Gave us an outdoor table, food was good, and it was a nice night outside.
Incredible place! Service was outstanding and the beer selection is off the charts. Highly recommend.
