Since my stroke I've had a little difficulty finding a place I can feel comfortable and didn't look at me funny and provided good service which they did and it was the food was beyond delicious. The chicken fried steak fried tender and delicious green beans had big chunks of bacon in it and a mashed potatoes were covered with an awesome gravy. I will be coming back again and again. Food was very good. I got the t bone steak, crinkle fries and okra. Wife got the Frisco melt and onion rings. The sides were especially good. Love the battered onion rings. The turtle cheesecake was good too. And nothing was expensive. With 2 full meals, drinks and dessert it was less than $50. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Mt. Vernon.
