This place is a hidden gem. Complete with a Michelin Bib Gourmond mention. Everything i have had so far has been exceptional even as take out. I can only imagine dining in. If you like the non traditional sichuan dishes that you won't find in your average Chinese take-out place then I suggest you go to Legend of Taste as quickly as possible. Legend of Taste offers incredible authentic Chinese cuisine with a focus on Sichuan style! I absolutely loved the crispy chicken, the mapo tofu (which was mind-numbingly spicy), the dan dan noodles (not as spicy as I expected), and the fried string beans. Additionally, the Sichuan pumpkin that came as a complimentary dish was fantastic!
This is the best Chinese restaurant in all of Queens and it’s got some pretty stiff competition. You must try all the Chengdu specialties, crispy, eggplant, fish with pickled vegetables, cumin Lamb, and many of the appetizers …. The chef knows what he is doing. A three star Michelin experience
Certain dishes here are really out of the world. Just order from the restaurant recommended/specials. For example the Mapo tofu is probably the top 3 I ever had in my life. Can't say the same for the non specials.

I had the Chongqing chicken, dan dan noodles, and green beans—all were amazing! The chicken was spicy, but not overwhelming. I highly recommend this place. The dining room will reopen in April!

The food is always food here, and the beer selection is small. But just right. Portion sizes are big enough for 2 people.
