The first time we ordered pick up the pizza had a staple in it, which made me wonder about the cleanliness of the prep areas... but i understand that things happen. So we gave it another try last night. We ordered via skip the dishes and ordered the pizza deal: 2 med 2 topping pizzas and donair bites and a pop. The donair bites were missing from the delivery. When i called Red City I was told that the bites were a sml order so they didnt really matter . The pizza was %90 bread and really dry so all in all it was a bad experience.
My favorite little gem in all of Red Deer. This wonderful establishment consiststantly provides quality food, I used to think a donair was just a donair until I tried Red City. I have yet to try the entire menu, but everything I've tasted has been nothing less than delicious. My absolute favourite item is their philly cheese steak, and I've actively gone out of my way to get one. It's that good. I also feel very welcomed anytime I walk in, the guy that works there has an awesome attitude. Ya gotta try Red City.
Good: sweet and garlic sauce were tasty Not So Good:. meat was the typical processed gyro meat log, meat was bland and rubbery, charged extra for cheese (tasted like processed swiss), lettuce/tomato/onion were all soggy, prices were $2 more than the menu board. Won't be back again.
Love the food here! So far the donair is our favorite though. Super delicious! Highly recommend coming here and trying their food. Their pizza is also very good. We recently tried the battered mushrooms, which were a delight. Everything is well priced for the quality. Réservez une table maintenant
