We visited on the 27th December for a late lunch, our party was 5 adults and a 7 year old. We were sat in a booth- a bit of a tight squeeze and did result in some kind of elbow jousting game that we could have done without. We ordered our drinks (a must try is the strawberry and mint margarita which did take a while to arrive; this was an ongoing issue and most probably down to the fact that their very competent bar man was making drinks for the whole restaurant with 4-5 servers sending through orders all the time. Love this place and the food, never had a bad burger. Drinks order took a while despite the fact they had only just opened The single cheeseburger was delicious and the devastator was a beast, my 9yo had the chicken strippers which she loved. We asked for the dessert menu as it was not offered. We then had to ask if they did just ice cream, for our daughter, as it is not listed on the menu as an item. Ice cream is an option. We ordered sticky toffee pudding but what came out was a cold treacle pudding. I did eat it. It wasn't disgusting, it was edible but not what I ordered and served incorrectly. If you are interested in a BBQ plate, it is designed for a minimum of two people and costs at least £60. Unfortunately, there is no option to order a plate for just one person. The burgers do not come with any sides and the pickles were not very crisp. As is typical with chain burger restaurants, the portion sizes of the chips were on the smaller side. I ordered a Philly cheeseburger with fries and an iced tea for £23.50. The service during my visit was lacking in enthusiasm. Been here a few times and just wow best value, best tasting burgers in Southampton. Excellent customer service always friendly and cheerful/helpful. The burgers are amazing, love the buffalo wings and if you have enough room you really should try their fresh milkshakes. For the price you will be hard pushed to find a better place! We like to come to this restaurant when we're in the city center and craving a burger. The burgers are a good size with a variety of options to suit different tastes. Ordered wings which tasted of vinegar to the point of being almost inedible. Drinks took more than 20 minutes to arrive despite a mostly empty restaurant and when they did the glasses were covered in dirt and bits of food; we were just told that the dishwasher wasn't very good. Very disappointed, bland, overcooked brisket , tasteless pork shoulder, what you pay for this food it’s hugely disappointing and some of the worsed bbq I’ve eaten, overhyped in my opinion, and not to mention our order was wrong despite not being that busy.
