Red Emma's Bookstore Coffeehouse

The atmosphere inside is welcoming and warm. The worker-owners are attentive and very knowledgeable about allergies. I can always find celiac safe gluten free options (they have a dedicated gluten free fryer! . The gluten free falafel wrap is one of my favorites— the hummus is so delicious. They are invested in the community and provide many resources including pay it forward, free clothing, sanitary supplies, and books. And there are so many opportunities to learn at events!

Place was ok. The atmosphere was better than the Latte. The service was ok but the person serving us was not happy with me. I think I called them a he, but he was a she or a they, and they felt like they needed to let me know what they are identifying as on that day. Very confusing and unnecessary. All I wanted was coffee.

I really loved the old location, but I have to say this new one is really impressive as well! It's also closer to my home, so I might be a little biased. The staff were fantastic, my latte was expertly crafted (I’m a bit of a coffee snob), and the event space downstairs feels welcoming and inclusive!

The new venue for Red Emma's will be completed soon. I’m really happy that I was able to attend their first live event last night, which featured a fantastic discussion about Dr. Treva Lindsey's latest book, "America Goddam." The moderation was skillfully handled by the one and only Dr. Martha Jones! Réservez une table maintenant

Fantastic food and drinks—this has become my new favorite spot! They still require masks and offer high-quality ones for guests, which I really appreciate. I also love their "Feed a Comrade" program. Additionally, their events and book selection are excellent!

The grilled cheese and house chili were fantastic, and you can't beat the $1 coffee! The atmosphere was really cool, and I felt very comfortable as an LGBTQ individual. The staff was very polite. I will definitely be returning!
