We just left the restaurant and wanted to make sure we communicated how wonderful our experience was as a family of 4 (with young children).The food was excellent; presented well and better than we anticipated (it was our first time visiting and had no idea what to expect). The service was even better. It was a busy dinner hour and our server worked hard to ensure that all went smoothly.We are definitely planning to visit each time we pass through and would highly recommend making an effort to visit!
Who knew you could find delicious sushi in Creston. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight. Ordered the shrimp and yam tempura and it was perfectly cooked. We had the spider roll, dynamite roll, Alaska roll and a Philadelphia roll. We enjoyed all of them. Service was friendly. Have eaten at other decent restaurants in Creston but this place will definetaly be somewhere to come back to. Thanks to Creston Valley Motel (which is just next door) for the recommendation.
Red Fin Sushi has recently changed ownership, and the updates have been a great improvement. The sushi is outstanding, with just the right amount of dressing. They offer some modern options, including deep-fried rolls, and the sashimi is always fresh, never frozen. Additionally, Red Fin now serves ramen! While they don't offer curry or black garlic, their shoyu ramen and tonkotsu are both excellent.
I took a day for myself to unwind after a couple of tough weeks, so I decided to ride my bike from Idaho into Canada for lunch. Since I love sushi, I looked up Red Fin on the map and made my way there. I was not disappointed. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant and clean, and the sushi was outstanding. The food has improved tremendously since the new management took over, about tenfold. The dishes I had were not only delicious but also fresh, a significant upgrade from the previous owners. The server was very welcoming and pleasant, clearly explaining what was on the menu and what wasn't. Overall, it was a great experience!
