Just wanted to say thank you!!! I called up seeing if you could accommodate me being that I am Coeliac and was told by the chef personally on the phone that you have separate fryer and gluten free batter and crumbs- this was music to my ears. I didn't end up having battered or crumbed, instead going for the grilled option with rice and salad and it was absolutely delicious. Yummy flavors, super fresh and all round a really good takeaway meal that I could enjoy. Happy customer
Finally a fish and chip shop my daughter can go to. Spent ages contacting fish and chip shops to see what they had for gluten free. Most in the past have been horrid, soggy and expensive. This place we just happened upon and wow- gluten free, super delicious gluten free batter and chips to die for it. And wait for it -4 people ate lunch for under $55! Lovely staff, excellent service. We will be back as our new favourite chippery on the Goldy!
We have been living in Burleigh for years. We have seen restaurants come and go. However, I am confident that Red Hot Cod will be around for many years to come. I really enjoyed my meal this afternoon, I had fish with a Quinoa side salad. It was just fabulous, fresh and extremely delicious. Excellent customer service...I highly recommend dining here.

We had the best fish, calamari and chips here tonight. Beautiful. No dirty oil, Golden chips and crumb. Calamari soft and not at all chewy. Best fish and chips I have had in years.
I was wanting a good fish burger with a good price and it satisfied my craving perfectly. The fries were really good too, and I usually don’t like thicker fries. Soo good.
Awesome place with great food and friendly staff who know thier customers. Value 4 money, best in Burliegh. If u want 2 eat only imported seafood, go elsewhere.
