Red Iguana 2 - Réservation de table

A trip to Salt Lake would not be complete without a stop at the Red Iguana or the 2nd restaurant that is less than a half mile away from the original location. Red Iguana 2 is a bit lesser known and it is bigger so your wait for delicious Mexican food is usually a little shorter. If you love a wide variety of Mole sauces this is the restaurant for you. I love the almond based mole. I usually get the "Puntas de Filete a la Nortena" which is a stir fry of peppers, onions, bacon and sirloin served on the almond mole. A Pacifico is a tasty brew to compliment the dish. The servers are very efficient and your tortilla chip basket and salsa bowl will be refilled.

Always enjoy going to the Red Iguana. Probably the best Mexican in the Salt Lake area. I ordered the Chili Colorado Burrito and my wife got the seafood fajitas. Both came out piping hot and perfectly flavored. We were sat on the patio which was quite pleasant. Will definitely be going back. (Traducido por Google) Siempre disfruta de ir a la Iguana Roja. Although I enjoyed my steak fajita a lot and my drinks, two in our party of 5 did not enjoy their meals or drinks. So I would say perhaps give it another try and see how it is. I'd go back for sure. This place needs no further reviews, but here goes. I've had Mexican food before, but nothing like this. It was both familiar, yet surprising and utterly enjoyable. The wait was worth it even if the service was a bit on the inattentive side. I'd still go back again and again.

Excellent mole sauces, always backed up on the tables so go there with some time in hand. Great margaritas - try a sampler of the mole sauces with your food for variety!! And skip the line in 1 and always come to 2

3 years on Father's Day I had Lamb Tacos here and I am still salivating. I wish that was on their regular menu. Tacos Ramon is a sure favorite anytime. And the Mole dinners are very good. Can't say enough about #2

I love Mexican food! Love red iguana! Amazing service, smells and taste. You cant forget to order some horchata! The combination plate had me very satisfied and very full. Will be going back soon. Réservez une table maintenant

Incredible food and super friendly and informative staff. The portions are huge and would be a steal at half the size. Plus the margs are top notch.

We stopped in looking for a good meal and saw this place featured on DDD, the food and service was excellent. It was a great dining experience.
