Red John Irish Pub

Day out in Solothurn, meeting of friends, was early so decided to hit this bar and watch some of the game between Switzerland V Wales. Service was quick and I tried some of the local Oufi beer, which was cold and looked good. To be honest I would say I'm not a fan of the pale lager, just a bit too sweet for me. Not many were inside looking at the game, which was just as well as it wasn't great to watch. More outside enjoying the mid day sun. Met a fellow mad irish man so had the chat over more beer for a good while. One thing that was a bit annoying. One of the bar men, well i should say boy, who was serving me all day, and was courteous, when his shift had just finished (unbeknownst to me),...

The atmosphere was quiet and cozy, as the pub is located directly beside the river and because Solothurn in general is a quiet and small city. However, the beer choice was very poor. Especially, I would have expected more IPAs and some sour beers (Lambic/Gose/Saison), but they had the standard beer and some local draft beer.

Das Lokal gefällt in allen Belangen! Tolles, gemütliches Interieur, sensationell aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung und eine sehr umfangreiche Karte! Als Steigerungsmöglichkeit könnte man noch kleine Häppchen anbieten, ansonsten kommen wir jederzeit gerne wieder!

Ein wirklich cooler Ort in Solothurn um ein, zwei... Bierchen zu trinken. Leider ist die Musik etwas zu laut, um sich normal unterhalten zu können. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Früh genug auf die Toilette gehen, da pro Geschlecht nur eine vorhanden. Réservez une table maintenant

Sehr gemütliches Pub, authentischer Staff, gute Bierauswahl. Gerade das Chopfab gibts hier im Offenausschank!! Auch sonst gute Bier- und Getränkeauswahl. Ein weiterer Stern an der Ausgehmeile am Aarenquai :-)

Tolle Lage direkt an der Aare. Sehr freundliches Personal. Viele tolle Biersorten. Sehr authentisch. Immer viele Gäste und ab und zu auch live Irish-Musik. Diverse TV-Geräte mit Sportprogramm.

Ich mag das Bier, die Lage & Atmosphäre, vor allem aber die Jungs, die mit so viel Herzblut hinter dem Tresen stehen. Kühles Chopfab an einem heissen Sommertag, perfekt!!

Das Chopfab im Offenausschank ist, ist einfach weltklasse und nicht sehr oft gesehen. Sonst eine super Bar zum verweilen und die Sommerabende zu verbringen.
