My kids love this place me not so much. It has become a Friday night family night dinner. But the last two times we have ordered something has been wrong. Last week there was a request for no onions in my husbands filet hibachi; both fried rice and vegetables. There was onions in both. Tonight I ordered myself a side of fried rice. I had also ordered my kids their usuals and wanted to confirm that my one was getting French fries not rice that is correct. I recall being asked if the fried rice side would have vegetables and I said yes I 'm okay with peas, onions, etc... well to my surprise my order was not fried rice but another side of French fries. I am hoping I can wean my kids off this pl...
What's the best part about this place? They consistently provide great customer service, delicious sushi, and it doesn't take long to seat us. If we've ever had to wait, we just walk around best buy next door for 30 minutes. Red koi has been our new go to for sushi these past 2 years. I would recommend the Tennessee roll, Tornado roll Blue ocean roll at the moment.
I was actually across the street in Best Buy and the smell from this restaurant pulled me in lol. It was a spare of the moment decision but glad I gave this place a try. The service was great, price/portion of food was reasonable. Will definitely go back here whenever I'm in the mood for sushi. I did try their hibachi but my son did and he liked it.
What a terrible experience. I ordered the spicy mussels and the hibachi chicken dinner. My mussels came out and they had clearly not been cleaned as there was half digested seaweed and sand/dirt falling out of them. I showed my waitress who called Jennifer who aggressively explained to me that we don 't have to clean them, that 's how they come.
