Ordered tonight after work: 1. Fried Wonton- fried empty oily sickly nearly burnt of old oil smell wontons 2. Wonton Soup- warm and tasty wontons and soup 3. Prawn Toasts- again used old fishy oil and burnt, inedible and this is my favourite. How can they get this sooo wrong? This is every Chinese take aways ' staple! 4. Prawn fried rice- very pale tasteless king prawns and really consistently smelled of old oil! The fried rice was tasteless with overcooked few bits of green peas, and dotted with scrambled eggs that are over cooked with same old oil. Only the wonton soup was edible. They did not give me any utensils or tissue paper. I can not believe this is top 2 take away in this area?? It...
Ordered on the website on Christmas Eve. Phoned the restaurant (I use this term very loosely! to add chips to the order. Advised me that they had no record of the order but had already taken the money from my account. Emailed to ask for refund but no joy! Phoned again a couple of days later and said they’d phone me back but heard a lady in the background who accused me of lying! Needless to say have never received a call back, apology or refund! LIKE OTHERS HAVE SAID BEWARE OF ORDERING ON THEIR WEBSITE MUST BE MAKING A FORTUNE FROM CUSTOMERS WHO ORDER BUT NEVER GET THEIR FOOD AND ARE STILL CHARGED!
Had a meal from there tonight, ordered 4 meals plus extras, waited an hour for delivery and one dish was missing from the order. Obviously we didn't realise until after the driver had left. Rang told them, 45 minutes later the missing meal arrived, no apology, refund or anything. After ringing again we were told we need to take this up with Just Eat even though we had paid cash to the delivery man from the shop. So annoying, won't be ordering from these again!
Well I ordered my dinner on 30th March at 6:15pm and it still has not arrived now 10th April! They have taken my money, set up a recurring transaction authorisation and have never issued a refund. I have even spoke to the Wigston restaurant and they said they would refund me on 30/3. Nothing credited so I have got the bank involved who are looking into fraud. Please be careful ordering online from Red Latern. How many other people are they doing this too?

The food was absolutely terrible, watered down, and the chips were cold and hard. When we called to complain, they didn't seem concerned or offer to replace the food. They simply said they would inform the chef. We will never order from there again.
My daughter ordered us both a takeaway, when we started to eat it, I bit into something, that looked like a nail. We contacted them and they came out and took a photo, no apology, and I’m still waiting for a refund
We live in Wistow, Leicester and ordered online. The delivery driver easily found our location, which was great. The vegan food was hot and delicious. Thank you very much, we will definitely order from here again.
The service can be a bit slow in the evenings, but the food is delicious and well-prepared. I usually opt for pick-up now, which is faster. They even throw in a free cracker!

The delivery service is incredibly fast, the Thai curry is absolutely delicious, and the staff is very friendly. However, they only accept cash payments.
eating is always really fresh and tasty, very fast delivery. definitely my favorite Chinese take in the Blaby/South wigston area.
