Wow, every time we have eaten at Red Lantern, the food has been great, hot, and reasonable. However tonight we had it delivered and what a disappointment : Our order was more than 15 minutes late. And we ordered more than a hour a head of time! When I called to check on our order, the number went to voicemail and indicated that messages were not being taken?! The fried rice was literally white?! It had no flavor and it was dry as a bone. All of the food was luke warm and was clearly made with no care or love. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!! Come on Red Lantern! You can do much better. I would greatly appreciate a discount y of some sort so I have incentive to try again. It will take a while though to...
Realky like it- and have returned a couple times now since our first visit. Restaurant is small enough to feel comfortable, yet big enough to accommodate it's guests without waiting for a table. It's VERY clean, I'm not sure why I'm mentioning it- buthas beautiful restrooms. Yeah- I'm weird, but that's a thing with me! All the plates we've tried have been at the very leastgood, with a couple being exceptional. Portions are more than fair in comparison to the prices, we usually have extras tobring home. Really, the only con I can give it, is that they seem to be slightly understaffed, but nothing to the point thatwould send us looking to go elsewhere. Give them a try- hope you enjoy it!
This restaurant can be quite inconsistent with its food. There are times when the chefs really excel and the dishes are packed with flavor and taste great. However, there are also occasions when I’ve ordered the same meal, and it just lacks any flavor at all. I can’t quite understand how that happens. The last time I ordered, I had the chicken and broccoli, but it was completely bland, and I couldn’t eat it. Interestingly, the previous time I had that same dish, it was delicious. Because of this inconsistency, I’m hesitant to order from here again, as I never know if I will get something tasty or something tasteless.
I've been coming here for years and this was super frustrating. I order online. They won't allow you to customize anything online. They tell you you have to call. so I call and I call and I call. I called six times no answer. I get there and they tell me. They won't do anything to change the order. But how do you answer the phone my order would have been correct. Now I have food that I don't want because I don't eat it this way. And they don't care. Super terrible service

The egg rolls and chicken were wonderful! The only downside of this place is that they have a definite focus on their take-out business, so we saw several orders going out the door before we got our food and they weren't that attentive to us (in a mostlyempty room). However, they were very nice and the food was really good and affordable!
Please note: There seems to be a new owner. I saw some talk on Nextdoor warning of that and that the place has gone down hill in very recent history. Same menu, but the quality of has dropped drastically. I tried for myself and I have to say it was a big disappointment. I can't recommend any longer. So sad.
Red lantern is a reliable local Chinese restaurant. They have quick delivery, pick up, and dine in options. The dining area is very clean and the service is attentive and quick. I recommend the beef chow fun.
Family-style; pretty good food. There are many choices, and it seems like they have expanded their menu in the last few years. My family has eaten here multiple times. Dine-in is better than take-out, though.
