Stopped at this lovely pub for a drink on our walk. Lovely friendly staff nothing was too much trouble when we asked. Dog friendly as well, they even have biscuits for them too . Will definitely go again next time we are in the area

Popped in for a mid-day pint after a walk. Very welcoming. Good ales and ciders. Beer garden out the back. Didn't try the food but other customers clearly happy. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch, hot, tasty, plenty of it and the lamb was the best I’ve ever had! Wish we lived closer so we could come again. Highly recommend.

Just like our previous visits, the homemade food was excellent. Very friendly staff, a very comfortable enjoyable evening.
