I’ve normally been a fan of Red Lobster and never had any problems before, but today’s visit was really disappointing, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back. When I arrived, I was greeted and seated, but after that, no server acknowledged me—even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. I waited over 15 minutes before I went to the host stand to ask to be moved somewhere I could get service. They told me to go back and that someone would be with me shortly. Another 15 minutes passed with no one coming over. Eventually, the host brought my drink order and bread, saying a server would be with me soon. But I kept waiting with no luck. The small side plates made it nearly impossible to fit a steak, let alone any sauce or other items, resulting in a rather awkward dining experience. If I had known I’d be eating such a substantial meal on a tiny side plate, I would have chosen a different restaurant. The food itself was decent, but unfortunately, the steaks were overcooked; the rare and medium-rare cuts we ordered had no pink at all—my medium-rare steak was completely devoid of pink. I didn’t mention this to our server, as he was rarely around, and it seemed he didn’t care enough to provide us with proper plates. So, we just made do with our meals as they were.
On August 27, I ordered my favorite dish, Shrimp Linguini, to go, just as I have many times before. The pasta was delicious, as always, but the shrimp did not meet my expectations. Unlike previous orders, the pasta was at the bottom with the shrimp placed on top rather than mixed in. Additionally, the shrimp still had shells on them, which was quite disappointing. I had to peel the shrimp with my fingers, resulting in quite a mess. This is not what I would expect from a restaurant that has such a good reputation. In the future, I will be sure to check my order before leaving the restaurant.

I have to say, the food was excellent. I haven't been a big fan of Red Lobster over the years, but I'm really glad my kids insisted we go. This location did a fantastic job with every dish. The interior is a bit dark and gloomy, but the staff is friendly and attentive, although it did take some time to get served. The server advised against the Mangorita, but I'm so glad I didn't listen because it was absolutely delicious!
I went for lunch and was seated in the bar area, probably because of staffing shortages. I would have preferred to sit in the main dining room. We ordered our meals, and they arrived quickly. The soup was delicious, and the salad was quite good as well. The coffee was freshly brewed and flavorful. We also had the coconut shrimp, which was really enjoyable. Overall, it was a satisfying lunch experience.
Our total bill came to between $49 and $59, which I found to be reasonable. Overall, my experience was mixed, and I would advise caution when visiting this location. I believe that restaurants should prioritize enhancing customer service and communicating better regarding menu availability. I hope others have a better experience than I did and that the issues I faced are resolved in the future.
The main dishes were outstanding, and I was delighted to discover some new options on the menu. We sampled the soy-glazed salmon bowl, which was amazing! The classic coconut shrimp and fried fish lived up to their reputation, just as I anticipated. The service was also warm and friendly, adding to the overall experience.

The atmosphere was lackluster; it felt like sitting in a room with no TV, music, or any ambiance—just a table. The staff seemed to be overwhelmed, and the service was lacking. The food was decent, but the prices were a bit high. However, the $20 all-you-can-eat shrimp is a good deal.
I visited Red Lobster for the first time, and I found our waiter to be very polite and knowledgeable. The food on my plate was absolutely delicious.
