We had the absolute worst experience we have ever had at a Red Lobster restaurant last night. We were seated immediately and waited about 7 minutes for a server to come and take our drink order. We got our drinks about 7-10 minutes later and didn 't receive biscuits. We inquired about biscuits which took another 5-7 minutes and we made sure to have our orders ready when she returned. We ordered ultimate endless shrimp with one salad and one chowder. After about 10 minutes she came by and claimed she was busy doing a ton of other stuff and would check on our soup and salad. Those came about 5 minutes later.we had been here nearly 40 minutes at the time. Our food followed about 10 minutes late...
When my order arrived, I noticed there were no condiments or utensils included, despite my request. The salmon was extremely dry, almost like cardboard or sand from the Sahara desert. It was so dry that I couldn't even attempt to eat it and had to throw it away. My son, who loves Mac and cheese, hardly touched his meal, which frustrated me because I had ordered delivery to avoid cooking.
I decided to give them another chance the next night and ordered the stuffed flounder. Unfortunately, it was even worse than the salmon. I had dinner at your Dover, DE location on August 8, 2023. I ordered the 10oz strip steak with lobster tail. My dining companion ordered a dish which also contained lobster although I forgot what the name of his dish was. The lobster meat was translucent, not white like other lobster that I have eaten and I have eaten at Red Lobster in many states. Both lobster dishes had a slightly fishy smell and the meat was rubbery. Neither my dining companion or myself are the type to complain and send a dish back so we just dealt with it. My wife and I recently went to Red Lobster and it will be the last time we eat there. The regular dinner sides were unavailable because they had not been delivered yet. There was an 8-inch hair in my fries. The waitress said she would notify the manager but he/she never showed up. What restaurant would open its doors without all menu items available? And what restaurant would offer only two desserts, both of them chocolate?
First, I want to say that the staff was very nice. It looks clean as far as the location and I was able to get in and out with my food out fairly quickly. But take a look at what was on the menu for the website when you order online versus what I actually received, you tell me if those two things look the same? Makes me wonder what else on the website menu is a bait and switch (pun intended...
The food made me and my family throw up, the silverware was dirty so was the table. The waitress had her hands all over our glass cups where our mouth goes and her nail was in my shrimp linguini...NEVER AGAIN
This is a standard chain restaurant. The food was alright, but the service was incredibly slow. It felt like the waitress had completely forgotten about us for the first 20 minutes. I won't be returning.

I haven't been to Red Lobster in about 10 years. but I definitely missed those Cheddar Bay Biscuits, lol. Good service, good food. Would definitely come again.
The food is mediocre, but the service is generally good. We just wish the interior didn't seem so dim and gloomy.
