That was probably the worst restaurant experience I had in my life from a service perspective. The restaurant was COMPLETELY empty, except for two other tables. Nevertheless, our server was nowhere to find. We ordered our drinks, he delivered them, then never came back to take our order. We had to get the server off the other table, they ordered our appetizers. We finished our appetizers, and he hadn't come back to help us. Empty drinks, no rolls, no order placed. When our plans to cook our Valentine's Day dinner went home dishy, Red Lobster in Florida Mall came to rescue with the highest brands. We order the Ultimate Feast and the Ultimate Surf and Turf (supplied by DoorDash). The food came hot and appetizing, and everything was cooked for perfection. The lobster tails surpassed the expectation, shrimps were delicious, the steak was done to the exact right temperature and not overseasoned. The sea scallops wrapped with bacon were made perfect and the bacon was crisp. They were a special treat. Thanks to Red Lobster we enjoyed a delicious Valentine's Day dinner.
The drinks were a bit weak, and while the food was okay, it didn’t really stand out to me. The service was great, despite being a little slow. The restaurant felt somewhat separated into sections, though that might have just been random. It wasn’t very busy for a Saturday night. I also found it frustrating that you have to ask about the endless shrimp since it wasn’t on the menu. Additionally, the bathroom could have been cleaner.
We had a wonderful dining experience. The food quality and portion sizes were outstanding. Our server was friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt well looked after. We felt comfortable and safe during our indoor meal, as the tables were sufficiently spaced for social distancing.
