I waited over an hour and fifteen minutes for my order. That would be okay if the food was good, but they forgot to bring my appetizers. The chicken was very tough. Honestly, my dogs enjoyed the kabobs more than I did, and I ended up throwing away my tikka masala because it didn’t taste like tikka masala at all—it was more like penne vodka sauce. I love Indian food, so this was really disappointing. There are much better places to eat. I won’t be ordering from here again. The place is disorganized; they need someone dedicated just to taking and delivering orders.
I’m very satisfied with my experience at Red Pepper Indian Cuisine. I ordered the paneer tikka masala along with samosas and coconut naan, and the quality of the food was superb. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning. I’m especially eager to try the desserts and explore more items from their menu. We love Red Pepper and have dined at their Scotch Plains location many times, but this convenient takeout spot next door is absolutely perfect! The owner, Tanya, is very friendly, and the food has consistently maintained its quality, flavor, and freshness over the years. I couldn’t resist ordering my favorites, plus the new Butter Chicken and Punjabi Chole Bhature — absolutely finger-licking good.

We are delighted that a Red Pepper has opened nearby! The food is exceptionally tasty and nutritious. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. The location is very convenient, with ample parking right across the street.

I did take out for my office for 40 people. It was from vegetarian to nonvagetarians dishes and they all really enjoyed the food. Very flavor full.....Much needed cusine for Garwood

I had to wait 40 minutes after placing my order, and the food was only average, lacking in flavor. I would definitely recommend Star of India in Kenilworth instead.
