A friend and I stopped in here for lunch on Xmas Eve, and were served promptly by the lovely ladies working there; happy to give us plenty of information on what we were ordering. My friend and I both had the spinach quiche (not some huge slab, but manageable b&b plate size portions) and she had a corn combo salad which also included a small pasta salad. Hers was $15.20, including an iced coffee (ice cream, no cream)- I also had a similar iced coffee-they arrived in cute jars with straws&spoons. I asked a couple at another table about their delicious looking toasties, and they said they were "yummo"-so that's what I am returning to have NEXT time! I love to support local business but only if they deserve it.The cafe is quirky and cute, but the service and coffee were poor. I had to ask if my order was ready after 10 mins of waiting in an empty restaurant. It felt like the owner wasn't there and had left her mum in charge of coffee. When it eventually arrived, there was no apology for it taking so long, just a transaction. I can overlook poor service if the coffee a A Grade but it was a watery weak long Mach. Just not up to scratch. Such a shame and makes me just go back to the reliable Zarrafas for a franchise coffee. Left feeling flat and sad that I can't help a local business succeed. Not all that sure that my absence will be notice...
We have always loved quirky cafes, but had to travel quite a distance to reach one. How did we not find this adorable place sooner? It was our wedding anniversary today and we were wandering around, deciding whether to eat out or go home. So very glad we decided to eat at Red Retro. We both had the chicken and brie salad and it was delicious. A really lovely mix of flavours with the poppy seeds and cashews making it stand out from the crowd. Loved the shop section of it with so many interesting things to look at while we ate, and the 2 ladies serving were gorgeous (so important that the staff are nice!). We will absolutely go back again.
Mum and I like to try different places when we get together for coffee. Red retro is a small, delightful little cafe in the middle of Currambine Shopping Centre. Staff are super friendly; coffee definitely one of the best we've had; the lemon crumble muffin amaaaazing and to top off the experience there are retro knick knacks and gifts for you to browse and buy. Give the place a try when your are in the area. Also do homemade meals

Great place to chill and have an organic coffee! Really retro setting Friendly staff and really large place Can either sit down on a couch or table to have your coffee Breakfast I superb and coffee is one of the best I've had in Perth
Lovely little cafe/shop with great atmosphere which is largely due to the music. On our visit this consisted mainly of a variety of 60's tracks. The coffee and cakes are excellent. We had Americanos and custards tarts. Recommend.
went back in may took by sister in law from melbourne for morning tea they had a special scones and cream with tea or coffee but we wanted chi tea we were told we could not have the special and had to pay full price not happy
It is as the name suggests Retro. Friendly place. Food reasonably priced. Mother and daughter. running it so can be slightly slow but if you expect - then - that easy going.
