Came in today, it wasn't very busy. 2 waitresses working. I was brought a menu then a few minutes later the waitress asked if i would like a beverage while deciding. I ordered coffee and water. I then sat with the menu down and done. The waitress disappeared for a few minutes then sauntered out and cleaned a table, (head down and not checking patrons) then disappeared again. I was coughing and needed the water I had ordered but each time I looked around she was not in sight. Sat there for a minimum of 10 minutes more then left. I let the other waitress know why I was leaving. I have been here a few times and always had Lucy wait on us, she was great but is now gone. Not sure but thinking the...

We ordered sandwich. It came with a bowl of ”greens” which had maybe a quarter of a radish slice paper thin and greens! Supposed to be a side salad?!The sandwich was a grilled cheese and was so greasy I couldn’t eat it. The waitress did not bring cutlery or my drink until reminded and it took so long for her to even take our order and bring our bill. Not busy at all in the place. My husbands fries were greasy and flat. If you don’t eat meat..well charged the same for your meatless meal unless you tell them. The burger was so dry and the “fixins” flat and unappetizing. Short staffed..no..I think the time of “good” food is gone in these “diners” that were once the best home-cooked food. Second...

Went for breakfast for the first time today, had the steak and eggs with cornbread. Amazing homemade shredded hashbrowns, homemade cornbread and jams, great portions (couldn’t finish my plate) these guys have dialled in their food and service 10/10 all around. Will definitely be back again!

This restaurant is now called Motherhen. The food is great and reasonably priced.Great BBQ and chicken dishes as well as wonderful homemade soup. Service is a little slow as they are short handed, but the wait is worth it for the great food.

A stop for lunch. Lovely service, very diner like. I had the fried chicken with fries and Gravy. The chicken had little flavour. The fries and Gravy was great. My friends had the pulled pork poutine and said it was delicious.
