Visited early doors, in fact there were no other customers in when we arrived. The older chap was at the counter when we arrived and we said hello to him as we came in, and confirmed our booking. The younger waiter joined him and we all said hello to him, a greeting which went unanswered. He showed us to our table without speaking to us and came back with the menus before we 'd even got our coats off. The tone for the evening was set then. He took our drinks order, answering impatiently when we asked what beer they had on. When he came to take our food order he glowered at us throughout and interrupted when we were ordering. The menu got posted a few days before we ordered. I have heard about the restaurant but didn't know they have a specials menu which included curry, rise and naan bread for £7.50, which I though was good value, particually with the 10% off for collection. So we ordered the chicken tikka masala, lamb bhuna with rice. We upgraded both naan breads. So, with 25p different in naans on the menu, this should of been £15.50, before the discount. When I phoned the chap said £17.50 but mentioned something about a chutney tray so I didn't think too much about the price difference. When I collected it, I asked about the 10% off discount. So happy with the service I received. It was my first time ordering a curry from the red rose (New years day) and am very impressed. I am on a very strict diet due to having a baby with allergies (no dairy,soya or egg) the man on the phone went above and beyond to help me order what I was able to have with great suggestions. It can be really difficult ordering anything or eating out at new places as people tend not to have any knowledge or better yet the patience to go through items with me thoroughly. The food came quickly and everything I ordered was as stated, 'safe ' and delicious for me to eat. 5 star service,thank you you 've just got yourself a new customer.
Excellent service Front Of house. Glad the young lad Kash is back as he keeps on disappearing! food was outstanding and Waiters were very re-assuring. I also met the old chap (Kash’s grandad) he was a nice gentlemen. They were busy on the Saturday night where they remained calm and still managed to provide excellent service. Finished the meal off with a shot of baileys (complimentary) from Kash’s grandad. We really did enjoy it. The red rose in syston is HIGHLY recommended. Thank you very much one again!

Three of us went to this restaurant on December 23rd and had a great time. The menu had a great selection of dishes and the service was friendly and efficient. The papadums, pickles, onion bhaji, samosas, curries, rice, and naan were all freshly made, delicious, and served hot. The quality of the food exceeded our expectations and was well worth the price.
The restaurant has declined in quality compared to before. The food and service standards have dropped, with noticeably less meat and lower quality in the curries. Portion sizes are smaller now, reflecting an attempt to cut costs. In a competitive market, there are better options with greater value for money and higher quality available.
We have been coming to the Red Rose for about 20 years as a couple, with family and with friends. The service has always been great and the food is lovely. What I also love is the kindness shown to loyal customers. Not many businesses still respect loyalty but the Red Rose does. Thanks for many happy memories and great meals
Had a meal here last night haven’t been for many years, and it was amazing, everything was spot on, from the service to the food will definitely be returning
