Red Tent - Réservation de table

This truck is located right next to the Hazev restaurant and very close to the Hilton Hotel in Discovery Dock West, Canary Wharf (if the right one is - since the truck we have seen a bit different, but also called Red tent Ethiopia). We chose the mixed bowl with rice and took 10 lentil filled samosas. The lady who sold us the food was very friendly and we liked it very much. The part filled well and the Samosas we had eaten later were great. Good value for money.

Location is just across the South Quay footbridge from Canary Wharf. They do not have a registered location on google maps, but the happycow loction pin is accurate. There are several food trucks parked there and it isnt difficult to find. The food very filling but it isnt overly exciting terms of flavour. Imo very much like watered down Indian food. Ask for chilli pickles to spice things up.

The woman who sold us the food was very friendly and we enjoyed our meal. The portions were generous and the samosas we had later were delicious. Overall, we thought it was good value for money.

This provider now seems to have a regular admission to the St James Piccadilly food market on Wed Thurs lunchtime. The food is absolutely delicious, lots of variety and generous portions, this will fill you in any case! You are really friendly to Updated by previous review on 2022-11-03

Proven food from here at the vegan camp from 2022. Have a dish with many different dishes cousin and injera and really enjoyed it

Had a bowl at VegFest. Really nice Ethiopian food. My only criticism is that the shares are somewhat small for the price
