Red Tomatoes is the nearest Indian restaurant to me, making it a convenient choice. I always go for the channa masala, which is excellent, though I feel it’s slightly overpriced considering it contains only a few cherry tomatoes in the sauce. The vegetable samosas are delicious as well. I saw they have a vegan menu called "Purple Elephant," but since the prices seemed higher for vegan options, I decided to order from the regular menu by phone, which saved me some money. This review is an update to my previous one from April 21, 2022.
I’m not typically a fan of Indian cuisine, but Red Tomatoes truly surpassed my expectations. The setting is unlike the usual, yet the food was both visually stunning and delicious. BK, the general manager, was very friendly and attentive, always ready to help while also giving us the space to relax and enjoy our meal without interruptions. I will definitely be coming back whenever I’m in the area.
Fantastic Indian cuisine! Worth the drive from Chicago! The butter chicken was very good and spicy. The garlic naan was spectacular and the veggies samosas were very unique with their puff-pastry like crust- so good!! Will be back and probablyorder the same things! Clean restaurant, friendly staff.
I love Indian cuisine and was searching for the best one in Chicago. And found it. It’s very cozy place with hospitable staff and delicious food???????? good job, guys. Especially thanks to BK Bajaj, general manager for warm greetings and help. He mademe feel home. Keep it doing! Wish all the best!

Really glad we came across this gem! The food is delicious, and portions are huge. We live in the NW burbs, and would regularly head down to Devon Ave in the city for great Indian food, but now, our new favorite Indian place is in Elk Grove, coincidentallyalso on Devon Ave. highly recommend!
We love this place. The place has great ambiance and welcoming. BK is very kind and friendly made us feel like we are right at home. The quality and portion of food was good. The Lamb Rogen Josh was fantastic and great tasting.. I definitely recommendthis place.
