Had quite a disappointing experience on a recent visit to Red’s in Nottingham after hearing many good things about the place. We booked a table and arrived on time but were left standing at the entrance for 10-15 minutes before anybody greeted us. There was another group stood at the front who had also been waiting some time, but to pay and leave, so alarm bells were already ringing. Absolute disappointment and made to feel like we needed to leave as staff wanted to close up. We visited 10.02.23. Table was booked for 8pm. There was 4 off us some had starters then we had our main that we was enjoying at 8.30pm the kitchen started cleaning up and turning lights off, we finished our meal and asked at 8.45pm when the waiter was clearing our table for the menu for desserts and milkshakes. Not a nice experience to be honest, visited with a party of 10 for a birthday, at least 5 dishes came out only luke warm, the menu sounded delicious and id heard rave reviews so was quite disappointed, none of our party were keen on the food and lots of things unavailable from the menu. There was a mistake with the order and the building was ABSOLUTELY FREEZING! Myself and family have visited this restaurant over the last six years.and loved the food My son went a few Months ago and said it was awful but I thought I would give it try myself Tonight was dreadful. The restaurant was freezing and we couldn’t even remove our coats whilst eating. Was told many items were unavailable yet were told by a different member of staff we could order them with the main only ? The food cooled down very quickly due to lack of heat in restaurant. Couldn't have faulted our entire visit!! Other than the fact we left feeling sick from full tummies Arrived on opening and was welcomed by a very kind guy who gave us seats at the top of the seating area, we were tended to thoroughly. Starters and crackling were fantastic, mains were to die for (I don't suggest getting starters, you'll pop! and altho some drinks were out of stock, I still enjoyed my watermelon cocktail
I made a reservation at this restaurant and really enjoyed the food. Though it was on the expensive side, I found it to be worth it. There was a bit of a wait for our drinks after ordering, however, the food came out quickly and the flavors were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the variety of sauces on the tables. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant if you haven't already. I will definitely be returning.
I visited this restaurant once before, and while the service was great, the food was just okay. There was nothing exceptional about the flavors, and the belly pork in my meal was mostly fat. For the price, the food was not impressive. I may not visit again in the future unless there are changes to the food and flavors.
The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious, it is reasonably priced and their hot sauces are amazing. It has been months since I last visited as I am not from Nottingham, but I constantly wish I could go back every week. The staff were very friendly and polite as well.

Amazing staff, we were served by a new starter Seb who was so helpful and made sure we were always happy. The food was really good and very tasty!!! We will definitely be returning, thank you for a lovely meal.
This is now mine and my girlfriend's favourite place to eatThe meat just falls off the boneYou finish your meal and you feel stuffed.
