We visited this hidden gem' on a strong recommendation that the food and general ambience were excellent. Indeed, the food was excellent. We both had a steak that appeared sizzling on a hot plate. Accompanying vegetables and sides were well prepared and the steaks were...cooked precisely as requested. Wines were good and the place had a quality, slightly cosy, quirky feel to it. So everything was good right? Well, not really as there was definitely something missing. Sister restaurant of The Classic Western Steakhouse and the menu is very similar. I will say the same thing about both restaurants my favourite cut of steak is rib-eye but the one they serve here is far too lean for my taste one...of the reasons I love rib-eye is the lumps of fat and the delicious texture that fat marbled all through the meat gives it. A lean version just doesn’t deliver what I expect. However, I have discovered that the filet is excellent. The wine list is also very extensive. I like the fact you can chose your sides and they have a good range of vegetable or salad options which is pretty unusual for Germany. Food was good, but my friends that’s not enough to get a RESTAURANT mention. Service was just embarrassing. We ordered wine and it was just left in the table. The waiter forced us to get all meat cooked the same way. They have poured meat...juice on one of us. We ordered dessert and after mins of waiting we asked for the bill without anything served. So disappointed from the whole evening, we will never return. I understand busy nights are hard, but just keep in mind who’s the customer and who’s paying for the bill.

Recommended this restaurant whilst visiting boat show. Happened to be my birthday and this restaurant did not disappoint. Satisfied meat eating partner and me being pescatarian. Excellent wine list and attentive staff with great ambiance. Slight confusion over bill and tip at end caused challenges...with credit card co the next day. We had a business dinner at Reef and Beef. The steak was good, but over-priced and a little over cooked too (for rare saignant). The dish comes with no vegetables so everything is extra. There is better and better value in Dusseldorf!

Excellent ambient and decoration, friendly and outstanding personnel. Food fell short of our expectations however. Expectations are always aligned with list prices. Quality of what we were served not in line with the high prices.

Went there for new year's eve They were able to accommodate us despite a late booking. Service and food were excellent tuna was cooked on point. We had a truly wonderful evening. Highly recommended! Réservez une table maintenant

We had dinner at this restaurant. We went there to eat kobe beef, however it really didnot look and taste like kobe. However overall the food was nice, wine was very nice too.

Nothing better than a perfectly cooked steak sizzling on the plate when it arrives. Service excellent and reasonably priced for the quality of food.
