Refuge De Frience - Réservation de table

Refuge de Frience is a mountain restaurant located next to an artificial lake at 1800 meters above sea level, where you can swim with the cows grazing in the background. It is a typical Swiss chalet entirely made of wood, where they serve dishes mainly based on cheese: fondue, raclette, croute, truly delicious. The family that runs it is very hospitable, and provides free equipment for camping on the banks of the lake (umbrellas, picnic tables, and you can also have a packed breakfast.

This is an exceptional quite typical but romantic restaurant. The service is superb and the menu very good without too many choices. We have been going since many years. Before it was rebuilt after a fire it was Chez Claude. Today it is welcoming warm and once again exceptional. Both for lunch or dinner. And BTW next door is a wonderful toboggan piste with a mechanical lift and in the summer there is a lake with for swimming or sun bathing. Super destination!

Virtuoso cuisine, very refined at a normal price. Quality service, smiling and caring. The layout of the place is nice. The grand view. Everything is elegant, from the choice of materials to the utensils. The exceptional dishes... And the original presentation. The menu is not long which is a good sign, the dishes were fresh and deliciously cared for. These people love their job, it's obvious. By far the best restaurant in the Vaudoise Alps.

I was recently delighted to find an imaginative and delicious vegetarian suggestion on the menu at this restaurant slices of butternut squash stuffed with goat's cheese and tiny vegetables, served with an excellent salad which included black green grapes and nuts. I enjoyed it very much. We sat at a table outside on the restaurant's large terrace and the service was very pleasant and helpful. Réservez une table maintenant

Very pretty restaurant, very picturesque. Excellent welcome from the staff who are also very accommodating. The dishes are good and plentiful. High price but corresponds to the prices of this type of establishment.

Great menu, fondue bonanza (we had 3 different flavours normal, tomato and lardon/shallot) and a superb planchette. Excellent service and very friendly atmosphere. A great mountain experience.

You had to be motivated to run in the rain to the shelter... But it was worth it! Excellent and inventive, full of flavors... Can't wait to go back
