listen up people n listen good im 45 yrs old n have been to alot of stores in my life n i have never been so disrespected by there staff...they r rude n ignorant n the owners r cocky especially the 2 sons.i went in with my shirt wrapped around my face n got like tackled at the door they r robbing people with there prices n they should be punished for it .i bought a pack of cigaretts a 2liter of pepsi a small choclate milk n it came to 20 dollars..then the kicker here was i was 4 cents shy of buying my dog a bone n there was like a left over penny jar like take a penny give a penny she wouldn't let me take the 4 cents out...they should be ashamed of themselves n i cant wait for the next town...
I can't begin to say enough good things about this store and deli . For one they greet me by name when I walk through the door , the staff is very friendly , the food is really good I won't go anywhere else for a sub after trying theirs at a reasonable price . The biggest thing of all was when the town has an emergency they are right there to support the community . My house burnt down to the ground February 13 2019 regal made it the place where people could drop off all donations for the six families without a home . They went above and beyond to organize donations and store them at their store it was the nicest thing I've ever seen a business do. I could never thank them enough!
I've been a loyal customer of Regal for many years, starting from their old location across the street, and I still visit at least once a week. They offer an excellent selection of beers, wine, and liquor, along with a variety of grocery items. If I were rating just the store, I'd give it 5 stars. However, I cannot recommend the deli. Every time I've placed an order, my food has either been prepared incorrectly or of poor quality. My most recent experience with a pastrami sub was disappointing; it was barely filled and hastily assembled, which seems to be a common issue there. While I highly recommend the store, I would advise steering clear of the deli.
I ordered from Grub Hub and ran into an issue with the topping selection. I could only select one topping at a time; when I tried to add a second one, it removed the first. I went with pickles to play it safe. I thought this wouldn't be a problem since I specified in the instructions that I wanted everything, with light hot peppers. While I’d like to blame the app for only giving me pickles, they completely disregarded the instructions that are right above the toppings and sauces section. Oh well, at least there are about ten other sub shops nearby to choose from.
I love this place! I stopped in to get train tickets and everyone was so nice. The deli and bakery are mouth watering and when thinking about grabbing something quick on my way home from work, I immediately thought of Regal. I got a menu when bought my train tickets and it looked fantastic. I am going to try to avoid the bakery this time but not sure if I can. Everything looks so good and now I never have to travel to White's Bakery again since Regal has it all there.
I recently moved to Whitman and have ordered subs from here a few times. Unfortunately, I've encountered issues each time. I even called to voice my complaints, and the owner's son reached out to me, promising to make things better. However, this is the third time I've ordered subs, and they have consistently been disappointing. I would advise against ordering subs from this place.
Great little grocery store that also sells exotic craft beers that are hard to find elsewhere. I bought some four packs of Dragons Milk (a cream stout) and Barrel Brew (a beer and coffee blend). They also have deli items, coffee, and regular groceries. And their prices are reasonable.
