I went to buy bread, and the older bread lady was sour and ignored me while talking to one of her co workers. I said a friendly hello and she just glared at me as she walked over. She stood there and said nothing, which I took as my cue to order. Bought 4 loaves. She reached back and grabbed the loaves and handed them to me. She was the most sour, uninterested person I 've met in retail for a long time. I went over to the deli side, then she wandered over there and started to talk to them as well. I figured I 'd cut my losses and leave. The bread is good as far as that goes, but I can easily get Calabrese in 100s of places. Driving customers away one at a time.

It started last year with their olives…. Tried them at a friend’s house and I had to pick some up.Then I overheard a customer order a sandwich…. You pick your bread from the bakery section, walk it over to the deli section and leave it to them. I’ve never been disappointed. This week’s sandwich was capocollo and salami on a Kaiser with an amazing mild cheese that just tied everything together. Life altering sandwiches.Everything I’ve tried from Regency Bakery is absolutely fabulous.Great selections, great service.
