My wife and I went for lunch last week not realising that the formal dining seemed to be evening only as we were ushered outside which was very pleasant. The service from a female staff member was anything but pleasant she looked utterly indifferent. in our opinion. Oddly, the male serving folks were friendly and helpful. The food was basically golf club bar food standard. Lovely position and the building is excellent inside. A huge bar but according to our waittress trying to get even a basic cocktail we might as well asked to go to the moon. We suspect that evening dining is completely different but we did not have time to go there. Our thought is go next door to La Llonja where they offer both formal and separately tapa's style at lunch time. So in short limited food at lunch time, miserable waitress and no chance of even the most basic cocktail even with a bar that a 5 star hotel would welcome. A shame really.

Our experience here was purely terrible, we arrived to what we thought would be a wonderful lunch at a very expensive yacht club with a £20,000 sign up fee, which we will now never sign up too. Three of us ordered different dishes which were all very below average, requests about the food were ignored and forgotten and the service was terrible. The lasagne tasted of ketchup, club sandwich leaking a thick layer of mayonnaise and mustard (when mustard was asked not to be added), and a Spanish omelette which tasted like I was eating an onion. With our plates still nearly full we thought we'd cut our losses and get the bill, the waiter was clearly angry that we left the food and gave us a serious attitude when we paid. We all agreed that would be the last time we would visit this place. Never again.

A bit strange visit, not really bad but not that pleasant either as some of the staff didn't even noticed or looked att you while serving and it was a weird feeling during the evening. We haven't eaten here for 17 years, when they cleared our table while I was with my, by then young son, at WC :-D We liked to give it a go but I guess maybe this was the last time, but as I mentioned, not really bad.

Whilst the restaurant is in a great location, and fairly well appointed, the general consensus was a very disappointing evening meal. I last dined at this restaurant in 2017, and have to say, the experience [in 2017] was far different from last nights service. It felt as if we were an inconvenience to the staff. The food was better than average, but the service let the restaurant down.
