I went to Münsterland with my wife. We also stopped in front of Lüdinghausen at Vischering Castle. A large parking lot, free to use. Then a short way to the castle, in the museum you will get its ticket and access to the castle and later to the museum. Beautiful ambience with a large outdoor area in front of the picturesque Vischering Castle. Inside to very nice dining areas converted horse stables. Rich cake selection and breakfast option. At noon unfortunately only one day soup, which is rich and tasty flavored. Vischering Castle is a great destination for the whole family. Especially children interested in knights are full at their expense. Sooo beautiful. You can really relax here. In the museum I was not yet (I must admit), but the surroundings, the beautiful ruins, the many greens that invite you to a small walk. Also recommended is the bread that can be bought there in the afternoon. Otherwise you can also stay so good and finish a nice day. A trip is worth it.
