Il faisait froid et peu accueillant, quelques bougies ou des fleurs auraient pu aider à créer une ambiance, ou même de la musique douce. We dined here with American friends on October 16th. We live locally local and have dined here a few times previously and have regularly recommended the restaurant to people staying in our gite. However this time we were seated in the brasserie presumably because there were few other clients. It was cold an uninviting, some candles or flowers would have helped to create an ambience, or even some soft music. Our meal was pleasant enough but nothing really special considering the price. For us a whole dining experience includes ambience and service. Well there was no ambience and the service was efficient, but the young waitress was unfriendly and barely managed a smile. A traditional slightly faded logis which offers a selection of menus at varying prices. We were attracted by the menu du jour at 13 euros for 3 courses (plat du jour 9.90 euros 2 courses 11 euros). The restaurant was empty and smelt...stale and only one other group came in during the lunch period. Some of the neighbouring restaurants attracted more patrons. The food was palatable but uninspiring with the confit de canard under-cooked and the chocolate mousse more like cold chocolate butter icing. Service was efficient. If I was in the area again I would try one of the other restaurants in the town.
Happened on this restaurant for a lunchtime meal for three. We arrived quite late (for France) but this was no problem. Service was friendly and discreet. It was one of the best meals I've ever had in France. Reasonably priced for the quality and service...we received. Can recommend.

my wife, together with my brother spent 10 days between chamonix, beaune, normandie paris. we all agreed that this place was our favorite restaurant on the trip. we ate here twice, it was so delicious. could the atmosphere be fancier? that was great, that was our goal!
absolument le meilleur repas que nous ayons mangé ici en France depuis longtemps, le restaurant est magnifique et très propre, la serveuse était magnifique et les prix étaient plus que raisonnables pour ce que nous avons mangé !
local restaurant in a little village in the swiss normandy great for a good evening dinner we sat out on the terrace overlooking the road and enjoyed their hospitality and good local fare
this is a good quality restaurant which specialises in fresh seafood. although a little way from the coats we had the most delicious oysters followed by the lobster!

Comme la plupart des petits restaurants étaient fermés, nous avons déjeuné ici dans la brasserie. Le plat du jour ne coûtait que 9 euros et était très savoureux.
Incroyable repas, ambiance magnifique. Bon service et personnel très sympathique. Nous reviendrons certainement lors de notre prochain séjour en Normandie.
