When I walked in, the smell made me immediately think of a Kneipe in Germany. I liked that because I hadn’t smelled that smell in a long time. Now to the food! The food was ok. I know it’s difficult to recreate good tasting German food but much of the sauces we had there were just not very good. The Gulasch was just meat and a very light sauce that seemed to be bound with too much corn starch. The Jagerschnitzel also had some strange weak tasting sauce on it. I expected it brown and with lots of good spices. The Leberknödel soup was salty and had just a bunch of broken up liver dumpling pieces. The only thing that was ok were the Ruladen and the Sample Plate. Obviously, I can’t say much abou...

We ordered with the hope of enjoying authentic German cuisine, reminiscent of our experiences in Germany, but this place did not deliver. The schnitzel was greasy and lacked flavor. While the pretzel with cheese dip was decent, that was the only highlight of our meal. The desserts were disappointing; the tiramisu featured hard ladyfingers and tasted predominantly of whipped cream, lacking the rich mascarpone flavor. The strudel was nothing like what we've had in Germany, as the apples were tough and the pastry was also hard. Additionally, tiramisu is not a traditional dish in Germany. The cheese spaetzle was a letdown; it needed caramelized onions and was simply overwhelmed by cheese. The sc...
**Price per person:** $20–30 **Food Quality:** 3/5 **Service Quality:** 5/5 **Atmosphere:** 3/5 Overall, the dining experience was decent. The food received a rating of 3, indicating it was satisfactory but not exceptional. On the other hand, the service stood out with a perfect score of 5, showcasing attentive and friendly staff. The atmosphere was rated at a 3, suggesting it was average and could use some improvements. Overall, it’s worth a visit considering the reasonable price range.
Other less severe issues included a shortage of glassware, so the wine I ordered with dinner arrived after I had already finished my meal. Additionally, after a long wait, I was informed that the entrées would be out shortly, only to be told 10 minutes later that they were out of the dish I had ordered about 45 minutes earlier. While each individual issue might be forgivable, when considered as a whole, my experience was a complete disaster. Réservez une table maintenant
Hidden gem. Stopped here for breakfast, had Mikes sausage skillet and apple pancakes. Great flavor with both of these items. Coffee was a 5 star flavor. The owners greeted us at front door, love the fact it is a family operated business. Mike the owner mentioned that they are serving food in several local Octoberfest events. Look for them or stop in, you won't be disappointed. Food: 5
