May 2018 Where the Rennsteig crosses the narrow road between Etterwinden and Ruhla, we saw this welcoming inn, but first drove past Ruhla to Café Keitel, which was our destination because of the delicious confectionery and homemade ice cream. However, this was still closed. My husband suggested to go back to the Hubertushaus and bridge the time for lunch. At 12 o'clock we were lucky to get a table on the terrace in front of the building where we settled. We hardly sat, a friendly service brought us the card and asked for the drinks. With a beautiful sunshine and a lukewarm velvet we chose refreshing common wheat beer. The selection of the menu with Thüringer Schmeckewöhlerchen was very diffi...
