Last night my friends and I went out to Republic to enjoy some drinks and have a good time before we head back to our depressing lives. I went up to order a drink and before I could even reach the bar the bartender, Tyriq was giving me the best service I’ve ever recieved. Little known fact my besties and I love to partake in a Long Island Tea and Tyriq made the best one I’ve ever had. Tyriq took his time carefully crafting this cocktail and he even garnished it with a little umbrella. I was about in tears when I received my LIT. Today I am heading back to measly gray boring Kansas, but while I am there I believe I will be comforted with the memories of Tyriq’s amazing service. 5 stars all ar...
I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The bouncer tried to deny me from the bar because I was wearing Nike Dunks. I then proceeded to tell the 4 babes I was with that he let in before me that we had to leave because I was being denied due to the most basic shoes of all time. The manager ultimately decided to let us in because he didn't want to lose the ratio and as soon as I walked in I saw multiple dudes wearing the same shoes. After all this, the vibes were terrible due to having to pay $20 for a drink and stand like sardines.
I stopped for a drink at 4 PM on a Sunday while visiting the area from Pawleys Island, where I live. I’m middle-aged, as is my friend, while most of the other patrons were younger, which didn’t bother us. However, I received an unfriendly glance from a staff member wearing a backwards hat who was cleaning tables in the garden area. The bartender was quite rude as well. There are too many great bars nearby with friendly bartenders and excellent drinks to waste time at this one. This will be my first and last visit.
Stopped by Sunday afternoon (Oct 9 2022) to get a drink and some apps. It was pretty slow, grabbed a table in the patio are and sat there for about 5 minutes. Both bartenders and a server sitting at the bar in the well area were on their phones andcompletely ignored us. Just got up and left. Gave it a 2 star for service alone, food and drinks may be great, but will neverknow. Southern Hospitality was no where to be found on this day, unless you were a cell phone

We had a fabulous time Sunday afternoon and were so happy to see republic was open during the day. We sat outside at the bar, which is in a perfectly decorated courtyard and enjoyed prosecco and other great cocktails! The bartenders were the best!! Can'twait to go back.
Greta place to have a good time. Very busy on the weekend… jammed packed the later it gets in the night. Cover charge after 10pm. Super cute garden and very good music.
My absolute FAVORITE place on King Street! Especially when TJ is working!!! He is the best and so friendly. I dream about the frozen lemonade at night! Delicious

Fires people when the head server tells everyone they can drink not to get caught. Seems to only want white girls as bottle girls I would never come here
I was so excited to come here but tyreek was so rude, we are vacationing here and no one deserves that behavior. Everyone else was nice but him
