in general: mid-December 2018 we had visited the Syrian rotana in bremen north and were very well done since the early year, but it has been closed because of rebuilding work, at least stood mid-Doctober. update 12.11.2019: rotana is closed, is bodrum ocakbasi . I had titled “Syria with ravine arrived in bremen norden”. that was not quite true because there have been a small Syrian restaurant in the deep lesum, far from the village, at least clearly in front of the redana, there was a little Syrian restaurant in the deep lesum, far away from the village, the afrin. in the locality had tried several restaurants. we had come to a gree and it was quite the most destructive thing we have ever ex...

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal dort, dieses Mal anlässlisch eines Geburtstages mit 5 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern. Wegen der Kinder haben wir einen Tisch früh um 18 Uhr reserviert, an dem wir auch pünktlich Platz nahmen. Leider war der Tisch eigentlich nur für 6 Personen ausgelegt und uns wurde verweigert, einen größeren Tisch im hinteren Bereich zusammenzustellen. Merkwürdigerweise war dies dann für eine andere Familie 20 Minuten später doch möglich. Wir bestellten also zunächst unsere Getränke (die schnell kamen) und 5 Minuten später auch das Essen. Die Vorspeise kam dann etwa nach 45 Minuten, was uns schon lang vorkam, aber wir hofften, auch bald danach die Hauptgerichte zu bekommen. Daraus wurde...
Ich muss zugeben, kenne diesen Laden seit der Eröffnung. Ich hab mich damals so sehr eingesetzt und vielen Leuten von dem guten Essen erzählt. Dann kam der Hype, neuer Standort, mehrere Tische usw.. Alles gut. Aber ich kann mein Essen nun nicht mehr abholen.. Warum? Ich weiß es selbst nicht, es ist nie jemand gewollt an das Telefon zu gehen, egal wann 17 bis 20 Uhr. Erreichbarkeit ist nicht gut. Zudem kommt das die Küche selbst mit halbvollen Laden keine Abholung mehr anbietet weil sie wohl keine Kapazitäten haben. Der Laden öffnet um 17 Uhr, wenn man um 17:05 anruft wurde mir oft gesagt es sei nicht möglich, die Gäste würden wohl bald kommen. Von 30x anrufen konnte ich ca. 3x bestellen. Dab... In the north of Bremen in the suburb of Lesum at a very low key area. But boy the food is just outstanding. A must for people who like this type of food.Top notch quality prepared by people who know their business. Highly recommendable even...if it may take some distance to cover. It is one of the few gems. I try and eat Falafel whenever I can and enjoy very often very good quality but this place beats them all. Also my Schick Taauk wonderful. People very friendly and you feel more being with family the way they take care of customers. Will be back as long as I will pass time in the part of Europe.
