It's a pity that our overall good impression was somewhat dampened by what we experienced during our last night at this hotel: the hotel staff played extremely loud music until late at night so sleeping was a difficult task. Very strange since the information provided by the hotel clearly states that the mountain Rigi is supposed to be quiet between 10pm and 7am. The rooms are nice though and very clean. The tea and coffee making facilities are much appreciated and a welcome bonus. Breakfast is good with some excellent Bircher Muesli and the location is perfect so we did enjoy our stay apart from the last night.
Homey atmosphere, with really excellent vegan options clearly labeled on the menu. We had he spinach burger, which arrived with two patties, no bun, and a lovely assortment of salads, as well as a flambé smoked tofu special which they flamed at the table— delicious! And the view of course is divine.
