Restaurant Alte Mühle

The kitchen was excellent as always. We appreciate this cook team for creativity and excellent implementation using best ingredients. As I unfortunately suffer from various food intolerances, I am particularly concerned with the use of chefs. In contrast to most of the other restaurant kitchens I can prepare suitable variations. Service unfortunately somewhat fluctuating. Wine prices slightly too high and not comprehensible before all (gant bottles expensive than glass of the same wine). Nervig, you can only reach the restaurant via the hotel reception. Summa summarum: We continue to be regular guests and visit the restaurant Alte Mühle.

The reservation was not available, the last free table was assigned a wide table for 8 to 10 people, although we were only 5. The table was not changed or removed for us either. It smells penetrant for urine, for every order and at the end payment we had to go to the staff, as no one came by forever. Lastly, the service power discussed that our Austrian Mastercard would be an EC card, which was inaccurate and also completely insignificant, because the device for both cards is the same... The food was at least very good and our complaint was also accepted at the end and an apology issued. Total: unfortunately underground.

Friendly welcome, but the online reservation was not known. The food selection was good and special requests were received. The service was very good and we will eat again at our next stay with overnight stay in the Alte Mühle.

It is always with one of the best restaurants in the place and surroundings of Wolfsburg, very good kitchen staff highly engaged and qualified simply class the Old Mill!
