Location opp. Batzenhaeusl. We walked past this restaurant as it is set a bit lower than the street. No regret that we turned back as everything else on our list was closed for hols.Menu is small, home cooked local dishes like e.g. speck knoedl (dumplings with bacon), kasspaetzle, roast pork etc. Our meals were nicely presented, tasted good, service by owner was professionl and friendly but not overbearing. Ambiente was pleasant, nice table deco. Nearly forgot: our dessert, apple beignet (apfel kuechle) with crean and cinnamon sugar were delicious. Price for 2 lunches, 2 still water, 2 espressi, was 26 €.
Klitzekleine Terrasse, aber das mitten im Geschehen, kleines Lokal innen, ein paar Schönheitsfehler, aber daher auch authentisch. Nette und freundliche Bedienung vom Wirt, der mit seiner Aufmerksamkeit die baulichen Unzulänglichkeiten wieder wett macht. Die Speisen schmecken als wären sie wirklich mit Liebe gekocht worden. Nichts für Schickimicki, sondern für Menschen wie du und ich. Günstige Menüs für den kleinen Geldbeutel.
Der Service ist freundlich und schnell. Die Tiroler G`röstl und der Salat ist sehr zu empfehlen. Waren schon das 3.mal hier und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch. Es ist aber besser man reserviert, da es immer ziemlich voll ist.
Nothing fancy, but items from the daily menu are good choices as they come with soup and dessert. Dining room smelled a bit of stale tobacco smoke. Waiter was very attentive and service was prompt.

Abbiamo pranzato qua in attesa della visita al castello. Menù a pranzo a buon prezzo anche se non di primissimo livello. Un bel posto per un pranzo veloce in centro a buon mercato
Restaurant is located in old town beneath castle. The food itself is very tasty and authentic for Tirol. Portions are really big! Restaurant stuff is very kind and helpful.
Sehr guter Service und preiswertes Essen direkt in der Altstadt von Kufstein. In sauberer in ruhiger Atmosphäre ein richtiger Geheimtipp.
