in a green setting in the center of the city with a view of a pond dotted with nenuphars, you will be pleasantly installed on a covered terrace. The person in charge of service is very avenging. The dishes are well prepared with local products (various selections of the day..).The material as the tables/chaises of the terrace should be changed to slightly raise the standard. A relatively good price ratio with an entry, a dish and dessert for 26 euros in a simple place. To discover.
Il y a quelques années, j'ai donné mon avis sur ce restaurant et je le réécris maintenant car l'endroit s'est amélioré et je recommande particulièrement le ragoût de poisson appelé matelote. Dans de nombreux endroits en Alsace, la matelote n'est pas faite correctement. Dans ce restaurant, vous avez l'assurance de déguster un plat authentique. Les autres plats sont également délicieux.
Il y a environ 2 ans, j'ai donné mon avis sur ce restaurant. J'ai décidé de le réévaluer car l'endroit s'est amélioré et je recommande particulièrement la matelote, un plat traditionnel d'Alsace, dans cet établissement. La matelote n'était pas préparée correctement. Ce restaurant propose des plats authentiques et les autres plats sont également savoureux.
restaurant hidden in a green setting by a small pond, the setting is top. the dishes are good but a big black point on the quantities too little enough. It wouldn't be embarrassing if the prices were minimal too. but a ridiculously small blue cord for almost 19€ is really too much! a few small hoods at the service level as well. we regularly go to the evening to taste their flambées pies that are very good. beautiful frame with the advantage of being big while being arranged in such a way as to be "intimate"... which allows to book at the last moment and find room there. The boss is not smiling, but the waitresses are yes!
typical frame, correct sauerkraut without more. pleasant service that has difficulty in making forgetting a direction below all!18 people at table and at 22:10 you are denied the possibility to take a dessert because it is too late! Never seen it anywhere else, incomprehensible!
I discovered with surprise that this restaurant was open again! I came to it very often with my parents being a child and I was not disappointed with the return. the setting reminded me of good memories, the meal was nice, the service pleasant.

Au Vieux Moulin est un trésor caché dans une vallée de montagne des Vosges. Ambiance cosy, excellente cuisine française, service professionnel. Ça vaut le détour.
