You won't find platform 13 on the train timetables, but this welcoming restaurant could not be any closer to Olten station and serves up tasty Swiss rostis, schnitzels, stews and salads to locals and travellers alike. Good Swiss beer selection and competent service for those with trains to catch. Great value given food quality and portion sizes. Small terrace. Open on Sundays.
A charming, rustic pub with train station flair. It is always very well attended and there are various dishes from traditional Swiss cuisine. The service is quick and friendly. The restaurant is not large and therefore fills up quickly at peak times. You can also enjoy a Fürobe beer there without eating anything. Unfortunately there are very few parking spaces nearby.
Good if you are a bluecollar worker and fancy a cold beer. Not to be adviced for other occasions. Waiter spilled white wine on my dress. No apology, no napkin, no refill. Just a sloppy " be happy it was not red whine". The dress is ruined as the material does not tolerate laundry. So just be careful and low in expectations.
Das Restaurant befindet sich neben dem Bahnhof in Olten. Das Personal war nett und hilfsbereit, das Essen einfach schweizerisch und von guter Qualität. Die Preise sind wirklich fair. Schön, auch im Sommer draußen zu sitzen aber wieder einfach. Ich habe es genossen ; Réservez une table maintenant
I didn 't eat, but the draft beer was perfectly fine. I feel very cozy here and it 's a perfect place to spend half an hour waiting for a connection. Stylishly named Kolej 13 , it is a classic station that should not be missing at every station in Europe.
