We stayed here two nights in late July 2017. The food was good, but be warned you have to explore a bit, because on our first night we completely missed about half of it that we thought was the food preparation area!Food quality was very nice, no issues. It's as good as any Chinese food I've had, and I've had the real thing, so don't understand what some of the negative reviews are complaining about. It does however seem to be more "fusion" in places, for example I'm pretty sure Sushi isn't authentic Chinese cuisine! But why not, the place is called "Phantasialand" after all... For those of us with fussy kids there is a kids buffet that serves chips and sausages (I wish all Asian restaurants...
My favourite restaurant in the area where I live is Bantu in the Matamba Hotel in Phantasialand near Brühl. It is first class restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere, terrific organization and service and outstanding food. We go there to celebrate special occasions, and we stretch the definition of “special occasions” to go as often as possible. You don’t have to go into Phantasialand to visit the restaurant, as it is situated in one of the two very lovely hotels next to the amusement park. After an entire day in Phantasialand park, we ended our trip with a buffet dinner at the Bamboo restaurant in the Asia themed hotel. The pricetag is a little steep but still affordable, especially for the choice of food that is offered. The buffet offers a big range of cold Asian specialities as well as lots of warm dishes. The chef makes any wok with your desired ingredients on request. Then end with some sweets from the dessert buffet. Don't forget to sneak in the children's buffet for some candy or candyfloss ;) All food is great and well prepared, although nothing very special or exclusive.The personnel is very friendly and professional. The restaurant is nice but a little cramped - we were banging chairs with the people around us. The food is nice - Make sure if you have children - direct them towards the Kinderbuffet (& away from the sweet table) so that they will eat something they like. You have to look around for the food - On our second visit - we found the soup and starter buffet. There is always a queue for the stir-fry section and the main course buffet the food was alright - nothing special. The dessert buffet makes up for it - the desserts were delicious. Its very pricey and the children do not get value for money. & a bottle of water costs €6.50 so for a family of 5 that's 2-3 bottles of water with dinner.

Great atmosphere and excellent food! Service was very friendly and fast. We went with our 5 y.o. and she was provided a colouring book and pencils. There is a great kids menu, even for a picky eater the meal was raved about and eaten happily. The adult meals are well portioned. The ostrich curry is amazing! Can understand how reservations are required most nights.
During our business workshop in the hotel we had lunch & breakfast in the Bamboo. Super service and delicious food. Breakfast buffet was all around you need in the morning. Atmosphere was very nice since the Phantasialand itself was closed and so booking rate of the hotel = traffic in restaurant was low. All thumbs up
Is a Chinese restaurant - the Food is ok but nothing Special - Prices are a bit high - Atmosphere was Nice as theire where some authentic Chinese Details around

Used this place whilst staying at Ling Bao. Extensive breakfast buffet with something for everyone. Kinder buffet was a nice touch.
The food was excellent..Service was friendly and on point..although the food took a long time... Had a good selection for kids !!
