My favourite restaurant in the area where I live is Bantu in the Matamba Hotel in Phantasialand near Brühl. It is first class restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere, terrific organization and service and outstanding food. We go there to celebrate special occasions, and we stretch the definition of “special occasions” to go as often as possible. You don’t have to go into Phantasialand to visit the restaurant, as it is situated in one of the two very lovely hotels next to the amusement park. Great atmosphere and excellent food! Service was very friendly and fast. We went with our 5 y.o. and she was provided a colouring book and pencils. There is a great kids menu, even for a picky eater the meal was raved about and eaten happily. The adult meals are well portioned. The ostrich curry is amazing! Can understand how reservations are required most nights.
