Restaurant / Bar Salzhaus

It was not a problem created by the restaurant, but this was Friday evening and right across the river there was very loudly and unfortunately not too high quality rock concert. So communication at the table of Salzhaus was a kind of a challenge… Service very professional. Food interesting Swiss and European dishes with a twist of Asia. I had very yummy Thai curry soup with shrimps and a dish of day, which was a slow cooked beef with bread dumpling. Dessert was also very nice as we decided to order a selection of Swiss cheeses. All three of them were very OK, but mynfavourite was a blue cheese with chutney

Super Bedienung die uns die Karte perfekt erklärt hat für gute Lacher gesorgt hat. Das Ambiente ist einfach herrlich, denn die Aussicht auf Solothurn und die Aare ist phänomenal. Die Gurkensuppe war super erfrischend, die Crevetten perfekt gebraten und das Fleisch super. Die Einflüsse der asiatischen Küche sind wirklich interessant und geben jedem Gericht seinen individuellen Touch. Am besten war aber das fruchtige Eis welches zum Dessert gereicht wurde. the best way to explore the new town for foodies is testing the local restaurant. I love the food with a bit Asian fusion style, not boring (like the standard recipe) cooking/preparation skill. Friendly service. The only thing I think that they can make it even better is...offering more staffs during rush hours.

The salt house is always worth a visit. If you want to eat there, you should reserve in advance. Otherwise, you can also spend a cozy evening with one (or two) cocktails and a few snacks.

The food was alot of Bread and abit of meat. The dish was Very nice decorated to make feel that you had something good. I could say that I could eat bread at home

Had a lovely evening here. Presentation was first class the food was superb the staff friendly helpful.
