Restaurant Cafe Rosenberger

This restaurant is terrible. Wait staff is rude and obnoxious. We can't review the food because we never received it. We travel extensively for business and pleasure and have lived in four countries the past 13 years. The last 3.5 years in Germany and have traveled this country with many great experiences, much happiness and great food. We use TA for all of our travels and have benefited from the ratings, advice and reviews. We only submit TripAdvisor reviews for exceptional and horrible experiences because we go to so many places. The restaurant's interior design is not my favourite, it's a bit old and outdated, too much red, too many roses for my taste.However, the service is good and food is delicious, here I had the best pancakes ever, the ones with raspberry three pancakes with raspberry jam and vanilla pudding for just 5 euro's. The ones with chocolate are also very good. Restaurant is located in Rudesheim center, near Drosselgasse street, therefore very convenient.

We stopped in the Rosenberger for a quick ice cream (and wine) break after hiking down from the nearby Niederwald Denkmal (1.2 miles away). Although located right off the main road into the city and the nearby Drosselgasse, the restaurant was a welcome refuge from the crowds and the summer heat. They have a full menu of meals, drinks and deserts. Try the apfelstruedel!

Freezing cold outside, so after a Rudesheimer coffee, up the road, we made it to this restaurant and the 4 people in our group all decided on the soup which was so thick, the spoon could stand up in it. Excellent, the best we had on our tour and the restaurant service was excellent. Réservez une table maintenant

Really nice inside, romantic and very nicely decorated , my cordon bleu schnitzel was as good as I hoped for and a complimentary schnapps from Claudio was appreciated ( best waiter in Rudesheim we think , we stayed for 6 nights for the wine festival - hic ! ) Thank you.

Returning to Rudesheim after three years it was wonderful to discover that the Rosenberg was not only continuing to serve great food, but also that the wonderful waitresses were still there. I refer to Olly and to Sylvana who only works weekends.

Specialist coffee in the region with brandy, coffee and cream, flamed at the table and poured. An experience that was wonderfully warming on a cold afternoon after a gondola trip up the mountain. Great service, a fun memorable experience.

The mixed grill (steak, ribs, pork, turkey, sausage) and salad were superb. More than we could eat, but delicious and satsfying. Reasonable prices. English menus provided. Pleasant atmosphere inside. Réservez une table maintenant

Delicious food, huge portions, very nice friendly staff and a great value. Try the spicy chicken, amazing.
