Restaurant Chateau de L'Isle

J'avais déjà un a priori plutôt favorable car l'accueil téléphonique n'était pas très aimable. J'aurais dû lui faire confiance. L'entrée (rognons de porc, canard pour ma femme, rillettes pour mon fils) était immangeable. Je n'ai pas pu finir ma "pièce de bœuf frite" qui était pleine d'eau et clairement décongelée, sans aucun goût. Le dessert était à peine mangeable. Seul le café à la fin était correct. J'ajoute que deux mouches sont tombées dans l'assiette de ma femme. À mon avis, ce restaurant est à éviter absolument, surtout après avoir visité le château d'un âne, cela gâche votre journée.

family and birthday meals is recommended by a friend we booked here. first impression, the environment is superb for this charming establishment on the valley of the cher nestled in the heart of a pleasant park. The cuisine that is traditional and seasonal does not lack a touch of originality and inventiveness! The chef from champagne and a great wine connoisseur has oriented us on a perfect met and wine deal to finish with a cup of dessert bubbles. All this at the corner of the fire in an atmosphere of old. The park is a plus for children.

We ordered a single salmon platter. it was presented to us a plate with a piece of almost raw salmon, we had the fish that was cooked but bad taste. leek vegetables but not melted as advertised in the menu and turnips not cooked enough instead of the originally intended panais and sauce resembling pears cooking juice almost water. we were alone in the restaurant and we would have to go back . regarding hygiene ; I doubt it.

Repas inachevé, servi dans un restaurant bas de gamme, viande mal présentée à la place de l'entrée demandée, assiette de poisson avec des légumes moyens, gâteau d'anniversaire coupé en carrés ressemblant à un gâteau au yaourt vraiment peu recherché. Décoration absente, manque de chauffage, nous avons été obligés de manger avec nos vestes, service laissant à désirer, etc. Réservez une table maintenant

Pass your way! the only quality of this restaurant is the setting: small castle. dressage of unfinished dishes, bad, fat, , very few choices, many stops in the cod, lots of fat in the burgundy, too old cheeses, ants in an aperitif, the staff did not find this abnormal....Quality of the very average service. We're very disappointed.

What a pity that the quality of the dishes does not correspond to the charm and good reception of this restaurant. The rooster with the wine of the local menu was very fat, the hard ox piece and the presentation of the very medium dishes.

L'endroit est absolument charmant, le service est agréable, mais le repas (entrée et dessert) est moyen. Dommage que le niveau ne soit pas aligné!

a pretty country house with fireplace and veranda overlooking the park. a very warm welcome and a quality cuisine.
