Restaurant Chez Jean-Marc

Very friendly owners, had lovely meal. Hubby had a foie gras starter, I had the local goats cheese salad, entrecôte for main then ice cream dessert and he had fabulous chocolate fondant. Decent Wine at good price. What made it so lovely was the friendliness of the owners. The lady is front of house and chatted to us lots, the husband is the chef and he came to check on us and had a chat. We were the last to leave so the dog came out to go for a walk, had a cuddle with her and met a friend who brings her dog for a walk with them. An experience rather than just a meal.

The ethnicity of the owners has led to a really interesting Asian/European selection of food. Rachel is the perfect hostess and couldn't do enough for us, and ensuring our youngest guest got fed first. We sat in the sun on the small terrace which is part shaded. The food was beautifully cooked and presented and I enjoyed my Malaysian pork dish though it was a trifle too sweet for my taste. My partner enjoyed his curry and the rest of the party ate European. Advisable to book, and the menu is displayed outside the restaurant.

Viel Auswahl an Restaurants hat man in Bize-Minervois nicht. Doch das Chez Jean-Marc würde genügen: Sehr persönliche und aufmerksame Bedienung, gutes Essen und alles zu einem annehmbaren Preis. Dazu gibt es sogar noch Tips für Unternehmungen in der Region. Falsch kann man hier nichts machen. Wir würden wieder hingehen.

Lekker gegeten, vriendelijke bediening. De kok/eigenaar laat graag zien wat hij zoal doet naast eten bereiden
