Restaurant Chez Lambert

Nous avons visité ce restaurant le dimanche soir pour changer de notre restaurant habituel, fermé pour rénovation. le restaurant que j'apprécie peut accueillir environ 70 convives et était complet. nous étions probablement les seuls non-autochtones du restaurant. nous avons réservé pour 12h30 et sommes finalement sortis de table à 15h30. nous avons choisi le menu à 28,50 euros, qui comprend le souper, l'entrée, le plat principal, le fromage et le dessert. la nourriture était bien présentée et servie à merveille. nous avons pris un petit (café) et un café. la facture pour quatre d'entre nous s'élevait à 130 euros. So often, when one returns to a restaurant it never seems as good. Not so at Chez Lambert. One gets really good service whether you are sitting in the dining room or at one of the outside tables. There are a number of menus on blackboards and these cater for every taste. The price has risen a little since this time last year but it is still good value for money. Three good courses, wine and coffee came to 43 euros for two.

We always visit this restaurant when we are in the area as the lunch there never disappoints. The set lunch menu always starts with a huge tureen of excellent soup, sufficient for two or three helpings each. Three more generous courses follow. Dining can be indoors or outside on the terrace under large umbrellas. One thing to bear in mind is that they do not take payment by cards - only cash.

Struggled to find a place open on Monday, but this was OK. Rather difficult to access as door from disabled parking was locked & taped shut. Plenty of food for your money but more expensive than quoted on their websiteMany locals dine here which is always good.

Stayed in the neigborhood, where telephone and internet connections do not work. Chez Lambert was a very nice restaurant with an excellent internet connection - and good food and wine. I liked the locally picked mushrooms a lot.
