Restaurant Chez Ron

Anyone who's ever been to Gaspé knows Ron's - whether from Haldimond to the current location. Love it or hate it, it hasn't much changed as far as the fare goes. Personally I can't leave for home until I've had at least one meal here, and I did not leave disappointed this time. Ordered the Deluxe cheeseburger and as always, it was great. Homemade fries, and a delicious sauce. The lobster club was also very good on this trip. And the staff was very friendly and welcoming, as usual.If you're in the area, well worth the trip.

We stopped here because it had lots of cars parked in front, figuring this must be a good spot for lunch. We were not disappointed. It is obviously popular by the locals. We had the Chicken and Beacon wrap with homemade fries. The wrap was grilled, very tasty. Homemade fries - yum. I recommend this spot, good food, good atmosphere, pleasant servers.

We were coming back from Perce and were hungry. We saw this huge building and said : let's try it! We had a huge delicious bowl of fish soup with plenty of fish and shrimp, it comes with a little garlic bun.Fresh and satisfying.Decor is not fancy, service is not fancy and prices are good.Im still thinking about the soup...I want a bowl right now!

Ate there a few times, the portions are always enormous! Usually friendly service and good prices for what you get! Will stop by there again when in the region fo a good meal. Looks a liltle bit like a truck stop restaurant to me.Grosses portions!! bon prix! Place style truck stop avec un service généralement amical.

Got there late - wanted to try Chez Ron having driven past it and seen many cars parked outside for a couple of days in a row during our stay. Despite being almost closing time we were warmly welcomed and well fed. Had a nice chat with the ladies running the place too. Very relaxed and pleasant.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to enjoy any meal of the day. The service is excellent and they serve delicious homemade food to cater to every palate. It's the ideal place to stop for a meal during a scenic drive around the Gaspé region.

When the place is packed you know that is a good sign. We had the family poutine and a 12 inch pizza with the works. Family of four fed and satisfied for 35 bucks. Thats a great deal for a supper. Only complaint was that...More

The food and service was amazing. A place where the locals hang out on a regular basis. Food was tasty, breakfast was great and poutine was the best we tasted in the province

I can't comment on anything else, but the poutine here is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend it.
