Having grown up in Quebec, in the 50's and 60's... any food that was faintly ethnically related [in those days it was only 'Chinese',which was likely unrecognizable to anyone Chinese] was a watered down version of the original.We are visiting La Mauricie & continue to be wonderfully surprised by BOTH the quality of the food, and their wonderful hospitality. Service throughout was continually very pleasant+++. When I asked for my meal to be 'very spicy' it arrived beautifully seasoned, with flavor and clearly some care put into it [not just a bottle of hot sauce dumped in at the last minute!!!] It's BYOB on top of that. I am pleased to recommend this resto-and sorry that they are not in Montr...
We came across this Asian restaurant as we walked around one afternoon. It's a cute little BYOB restaurant so we returned that evening for dinner. It's a busy place because the food was very good and the prices are quite reasonable. Bringing your own wine or drinks is always nice!
Petit restaurant thaï près de la rivière st-maurice, offrant une belle table d'hôte et la possibilité d'apporter votre vin! Réserver d'avance surtout le fin de semaine, souvent complet... Que vous soyez de Shawinigan ou d'ailleurs, à essayer au moins une fois!
Great food, very good service, very good value for money. We were pleasantly surprised both with the menu and the bill afterwards. If we'd be living closer would definitely come here often
