Restaurant De la ferme Robert

On our Creux du Van hike we were told that this was the only restaurant open. We didn't have much choice, but as we starve, we just had to stop before we walked 3 hours. As soon as we opened the door, we were hit by a smoke wall. It was so bad that we could hardly see inside. It felt we were going into someone's living room. Fortunately, the restaurant was in another neighboring room. If they had closed the door in between, it would have been great. The food was as expected (although the menu was already limited, not all dishes were available) mountain tasty (i.e. heavy) but ok. You may come back in summer if you can enjoy the outdoor seats, but not back in the winter season.

What a treat, after the strenuous hike on the Creux du Van on this forest restaurant. It is located in a forest clearing with rustic tables outside. Our waitress was kind and spoke a little German. There was no soup on the menu (we wanted to replace the water and the salt we had so tiredly sweated), but basic dishes such as roast potatoes, cheese fondue and cold meat dishes. There is a parking space about five minutes walk on the street.

La region du creux du van est magnifique.La ferme Robert est un endroit reposant ou la cuisine est excellente, mais les prix très salés. On a passé un bon moment, les rösti, Saucisse aà la sauce au Pinot noir, tout était trés bon. L'endroit est a ecommader, une promenade digestive aprés les plats copieux s'impose autour du creux du vent. Lea vue 360 degré depuis le Soliat est fantastique

The patron was very friendly, the food was great, we took the rösti with hot tomb (fresh cheese) someone else took the rösti with polylles, which was also very beautiful. Recommend this place good food and not love.

Super feine Rösti, herzliches Personal... für uns war es der perfekte Ort um uns während der Wanderung zu stärken.
