Nous avons fini dans ce restaurant qui était perdu à l'ocita du village de Hoffen lors d'une soirée pluvieuse de fin mars, après avoir visité la ligne Maginot. Eh bien que dire, il nous a grandement surpris : au-delà de l'endroit, qui est agréable et assez spacieux, pas trop bondé évidemment, le personnel était vraiment sympa et nous a bien servis. En particulier, nous avions commandé des "tartes flambées" (une sorte de pizza, mais plus fine et sèche, avec des oignons, du fromage ou du lard). Le propriétaire nous a conseillé d'en prendre une après l'autre pour qu'elles ne refroidissent pas : il a dit qu'il y avait un risque que nous en prenions moins, sans aucun calcul de profit ; j'ai trouv...

How to say....I trusted myself to trip and came to it thanks to this application. I arrive at 11.50 a.m. and there already qque tables already occupied. the waiter (or boss I don't know) shows me a table or are already sitting 3 types rather "locaux"...I say hello and when I sit they start talking in Alsatian...I quickly understand that I'm not welcome... J'ai mis mon titre impressionnant parce que j'étais dans une auberge bondée et entre 1h30 et 2h00 en plus d'un chat ! Mon opinion est que c'est un endroit très habité et la zone industrielle adjacente doit être là depuis longtemps. Nous avons pris une choucroute et son garrret.... toujours impressionnant ! Une excellente cuisine locale qui vous réconcilie avec les plats typiques, un service nickel et une addition raisonnable : 16,90€ (bière et café inclus).

Working lunch with colleagues on my trip to Alsace. Simple but hearty menu for my colleagues (flat entrance) and I took a blue cord to the munster and cream to the map.Very good with mushroom accompaniment and small fries. all with white wine and coffee to make a good lunch for less than 18€. We spent a friendly evening, enjoying succulent tarts flambées. the pies are made home by the boss and the bacon prepared with good smoked lard produced locally. I also recommend the homemade iced cowrin. super value for money.

Les plats du jour sont toujours de qualité et bien choisis avec la juste quantité : ni trop, ni trop peu. Entrée, plat et dessert pour moins de 20€.
